'I Lost My First True Love:' Victims Of Deadly I-81 Crash Remembered
The lives of two Maryland men were cut short in a crash on I-81 last week in Pennsylvania, and now, their loved ones are rallying to give them proper burials. Diamonte Drequan Disney, 25, and Tiheen "Tizzy" Justice Nathaniel Matthews, 20, both of Hagerstown, MD, both died in the crash Wednesday, Aug. 21 in Antrim Township, as previously reported by Daily Voice. The three people who were found dead after crashing into a tree overnight while fleeing from state troopers have been identified, Pennsylvania State Police announced in an updated release on Friday, May 5, 2023. Authorities ID Man, 36, Killed In I-76, PA Turnpike Crash
The man who died in Monday morning’s fatal turnpike crash has been identified. A utility truck crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer on I-76 by mile marker 246.6 at 9:17 a.m. according to PA Turnpike officials. The utility truck driver died at the scene and a coroner was called, according to Emergency Dispatch Services. Tractor-Trailer Crash Closes I-81 Northbound Lanes
A tractor-trailer crash on I-81 closed all northbound lanes on Monday afternoon. Crews were called to the scene of a crash near Exit 29 to Newville PA174 around 1:35 p.m. The tractor-trailer had rolled on its side, blocking all lanes. It was towed from the road around 2 p.m. There is no word on any injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
