A boy was killed in a car crash just days before starting his senior year of high school, his mother said on Friday, Aug. 16. Jaxon Phetsavanh, 17, of Hellertown, has died following a crash along the Route 33 Southbound Exit Ramp to Route 248 in Lower Nazareth Township on Thursday, Aug. 15, according to a release by the Northampton County Coroner's Office. More than 25 years after she was found shot and strangled to death, police are still searching for Charlotte Fimiano's killer. The 40-year-old realtor was showing a house in Hellertown to an unknown client on Sept. 11, 1997, but never made it back home, according to state police. A 40-year-old Pennsylvania mom, her 14-year-old daughter and a 25-year-old former soccer player were identified as the victims killed in a Route 33 Wednesday, March 1, loved ones say. Samantha Crich and her daughter, Elizabeth, were coming home from a doctor's visit when they were struck by an out-of-control tractor trailer around 11 a.m., according to a GoFundMe campaign and Pennsylvania State Police. Firefighters responded to the 600 block of Linden Avenue just before 1 a.m., where they found the house engulfed in flames, officials said.
