Two laser strikes have been reported by air traffic controllers at a Pennsylvania airport on Tuesday, Oct. 29, police announced. The "laser strikes" were reported by airport traffic controllers at Harrisburg International Airport "coming from an area approximately one mile north of the tower," Highspire police said. Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. A military airplane had fumes and smoke in the cockpit when it was forced to land at Harrisburg International Airport around 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
