Shot Man Hospitalized, Susquehanna Township Police Say
A man shot in broad daylight is the hospital, the Susquehanna Township Police Department announced on Thursday. Officers were called to a report of a man suffering a gunshot wound in the 3200 block of Wakefield Road just after noon on Feb. 22, the department detailed in a release that evening. The murder-suicide victims found in a Central Pennsylvania home over the weekend have been identified as a recently engaged couple. Timothy Hanford, 49, is believed to have fatally shot his fiance, Carolyn (Hand) Eash, 57, in a home on the 800 block of Grantham Road in Upper Allen Township, Mechanicsburg, before turning the gun on himself, local officials said. Two people have been arrested in an accidental shooting that left a 13-year-old boy critically injured in Philadelphia, authorities said. Person, 41, Shot Dead In York, Say Police
A person was found shot dead on Monday, say York City police. The 41-year-old non-binary victim was found while police were investigating a reported shooting at Smyser Street around 11:25 p.m. The victim died of injuries from a single gunshot wound according to police. This is the third homicide by a shooting in York this year. Detectives continue to investigate. Teen Shoots, Kills Himself Near Railroad Tracks In York County
A teen shot and killed himself near the railroad tracks in East Manchester Township on Tuesday. The York County Coroner's office was dispatched to the area of Gut and Wago roads at 8:39 a.m. for a report of a deceased male near the railroad tracks. Two deputy coroners responded and determine the teenage boy died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the abdomen. The time of death was 9:23 a.m. There will be no autopsy.
