A 14-year-old transgender teenager from Western Pennsylvania met their alleged killer through the dating app Grindr, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by Daily Voice. A Texas-based group aimed at catching online child predators helped police in the Philadelphia suburbs nab a 23-year-old Montgomery County man who thought he was meeting a 13-year-old boy for sex, according to court documents obtained by NorthPennNow. A takeout food delivery driver from Westchester who was arrested when he showed up at a Bergen County home for sex with what he thought was a 14-year-old girl was sentenced Friday to four years in state prison. A former Pennsylvania firefighter was sentenced to 10 to 20 years behind bars for sexually assaulting a 14-year-old boy he met on an online dating app in 2019, authorities said.
