Clearer Water May Have Prevented The Drowning Of Boy At Hotel In Harrisburg, County DA Says
A 7-year-old boy's drowning last month at a central Pennsylvania hotel might have been preventable, according to information from the Dauphin County District Attorney Attorney Frank Chardo. Crews were called to the Red Lion Hotel at 4751 Lindle Road for a reported drowning on June 23 shortly before 10 p.m., as Daily Voice reported at the time. PA Judge Denies Compassionate Release For Killer Dying Of Stage 4 Cancer
A Dauphin County judge denied a compassionate release for an inmate dying of inoperable Stage 4 colon cancer who is serving a life sentence for murder, says PennLive. Earl Box, 74 is serving a life sentence for killing a Steelton man during a robbery in 1974, and had requested to be moved to his daughter’s Berks County home for hospice care.
