A customer was slapped in the face with a cell phone and an employee was beaten with a shoe following a disagreement at a Dunkin' in central Pennsylvania, authorities say. 35-year-old Mabel Hinson pulled up at the drive-thru at the Dunkin' located at 2006 Miller Road in East Petersburg in the morning on Friday, Nov. 18, according to the police. 39 children between 14 and 15 years old worked excess hours at three central Pennsylvania Dunkin' locations owned by one franchiser, according to a release by the US Department of Labor. The franchiser Akshar Ashish LLC admitted to the error and has entered into an agreement with the USDOL. The violations include the following, according to the DOL: Allowing shifts longer then three hours on a school day. Having workers past 7 p.m. on a school night. Beloved Young PA Men Killed In MD Crash Will Have Joint Celebration Of Life
A community is coming together after the sudden loss of two young Pennsylvania men who died at the scene of a crash in Maryland on Sunday, June 19. Kyler Jace Robinson, 20, was behind the wheel and Wesley Owen Singh, 19, was in the passenger's seat when police found the white 2022 Hyundai Kona upside-down on Manchester Road just before 4 a.m., according to a release by Maryland state police. An eastern Pennsylvania community is mourning the loss of a beloved Dunkin' worker. Rachel Cox, 16, died suddenly on Jan. 15 at St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital, according to her obituary. A cause of death was not released. Cox worked at a Dunkin' franchisee on Mountain Road in Hamburg. The store announced her death in a Facebook post on Jan. 19.
