Two 20-year-old people who had been evicted from their apartment robbed and killed of a man whose body was found under a Montgomery County bridge last month, authorities said. The last person to see a New Jersey woman before she was beaten to death in her home was found dead in Pennsylvania, authorities said. Peter Lestician, 53 — a teacher at South Brunswick High School an area softball coach — had been a person of interest in the death of his girlfriend, Sheila Maguire, Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw said. Philly Teen Accused Of Fatally Stabbing MontCo Ex-GF More Than 30 Times Heads To Trial
The trial for a Philadelphia teen accused of fatally stabbing his Montgomery County ex-girlfriend more than 30 times begins Monday. Gilbert Newton III, 19, is facing charges of first-degree murder, third-degree murder, and possessing an instrument of crime. Newton stabbed Morgan McCaffery, 18, of Abington Township, at the Meadowbrook train station on July 27, 2020, according to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
