A warrant was issued Friday, March 11 for the arrest of a 16-year-old boy charged with attempted murder in the shooting at a Delaware County football game last summer that killed 8-year-old Fanta Bility, authorities said. Angelo "AJ" Ford, of Sharon Hill, escaped from an Aspire youth facility sometime between the night of Feb. 24 and the morning of Feb. 25, the Delco Times reports. Murder charges have been withdrawn for two individuals accused of killing an 8-year-old girl at a Delaware County football stadium last summer, and instead, three local police officers are accused of manslaughter. Family Of DelCo Girl Killed By Police Gunfire Files Federal Lawsuit
The family of a young girl who was killed by police gunfire in Delaware County earlier this year has filed a federal lawsuit. The 10-page lawsuit named the borough of Sharon Hill, Sharon Hill police chief Joseph Kelly, police officers John Scanlan III and Devon Smith, as well as an unspecified number of additional officers whose names are unknown by the Bility family.
