A man in Harrisburg involved in a standoff appears to be streaming the whole event in a series of Facebook Live videos (scroll for footage). The standoff at home near the corner of Briggs & North 15th streets began around 6:30 a.m., as Daily Voice previously reported. Former NFL and Penn State football player Brandon Short's pregnant daughter was shot and killed on Monday, local police say. Karli Short, 26, of McKeesport (Allegheny County) was found with a gunshot wound to her head by first responders on the 300 block of 25th Street, police said. Two parks in Dauphin County are expected to remain closed after serious flooding following Hurricane Ida. McNaughton and Schiavoni parks will be closed at least through, "sometime next week," according to Swatara Township Police. Lancaster County Coroner ID's Men Killed In Route 30 Crash
The Lancaster County Coroner has identified the two men killed in a two-vehicle crash along Route 30 on Sunday. John Bray, 66, of Stevens, and Matthew Ingram, 44, of Columbia, have been identified as the drivers killed in the crash. The crash happened across both eastbound lanes of Route 30 between Stony Battery Road and Prospect Road Mountville around 2:30 a.m., as Daily Voice previously reported.
