Man Beaten Until Seizure, Wanted Columbia Felon Caught In Pursuit: Police A convict has been arrested after he was seen beating another man until he began to have a seizure in a public park, Lancaster City Police announced on Friday, June 7.  Michael Shaquin Roane, 33 of Columbia Borough, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of Simple Assault and Flight on Foot, the police said and court records confirmed.  The police were called to a report of an assault that ended when a man began having a seizure in Culliton Park around 7:50 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, according to the bureau's release.  The Bureau released the following statement about the situat…

Woman Stabbed In Lancaster City Park A woman was hospitalized after a stabbing in a Lancaster city park on Saturday, according to area police. Officers were called to a report of a woman stabbed in a leg and the chest at Culliton Park near South Water and West Strawberry streets around 9:20 p.m. The woman was transported to an area hospital. She is expected to survive as her injuries were minor and not life-threatening. Witnesses told police the woman was attacked by another woman. Police continue to attempt to identify the suspect.
