: Feline Pet Killed By BB Gun In Central Pennsylvania, Police Say
A cat has died after being shot repeatedly with a BB gun in Central Pennsylvania, police announced on Monday, Oct. 16. The animal cruelty incident happened "sometime overnight between Wednesday, October 11th and Thursday, October 12th," the Camp Hill Police Department said. An unknown person shot the domestic cat multiple times with a BB gun in the 200 block of North 24th Street, the Camp Hill PD explained. Python Found At Central PA School: Police
A python was found at a Central Pennsylvania school on Tuesday. The ball python was found during student pick-up just before 4 p.m. on Oct. 3rd. The Lower Paxton Township Police think the snake may have slithered out of a family's car at Dauphin County Technical School. Anyone with information about the snake and who it may belong to is asked to call the Lower Paxton Township Police Department at 717-558-6900.

I-83 Reopens After Multi-Vehicle Crash In Central PA
Interstate 83 has reopened several hours after a crash in Central Pennsylvania. Part of Interstate 83 was shut down due to a multiple-vehicle crash on Tuesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The crash closed I-83 northbound between Exit 19 to Market Street and Exit 21A to Route 30 East/Arsenal Road. The crash was reported at 6:42 a.m. on Oct. 4. Pedestrian 'Incident' On I-81 At Maryland Border Clears: PennDOT
Part of Interstate 81 shut down in Central Pennsylvania on Friday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler. The "pedestrian-related incident" happened at mile marker 1 on Sept. 22 shortly before 7:40 a.m., Schreffler detailed to Daily Voice. The southbound lanes closed between exit 3 to Molly Pitcher Highway and the Maryland border, according to PennDOT. The roadway reopened shortly after 9 a.m. "No more information will be released at this time," Schreffler said.

Water Outage Shutters School In Central PA
A Central Pennsylvania elementary school is closed due to a water shortage. The sudden announcement of the closure came from the Lower Dauphin School District around 7 a.m. on Sept. 21 — the same day as the closure. Only the Londonderry Elementary School within the direct is affected by the outage and closure. All other schools in the district will operate on normal schedules, according to the district.

A 74-year-old man has been identified after he died at a hospital after being struck in a Central Pennsylvania crosswalk, police announced on Tuesday, Sept. 5. Tar Pee Tu of Charles Road in Lancaster, was struck in the crosswalk in the first block of Pitney Road in Lancaster at approximately 11:13 p.m. on Sept. 2, the East Lampeter Township Police Department detailed in a release. A crash shuttered all lanes of Interstate 81 Northbound in Central Pennsylvania, authorities say.
