A Connecticut couple visiting friends in Pennsylvania was killed in a high-speed hit-and-run crash, and the driver has pleaded guilty to their deaths, authorities said.
John Thomas Wadlinger Jr., 32, of Bensalem, admitted guilt to 20 charges, including two counts each of homicide by vehicle while DUI and homicide by vehicle, before Common Pleas Judge C. Brud Charles Anderson, the 50-year-old mayor of Morrisville, was apparently behind the wheel of a Ford Sport-Trac heading north on North Delmorr Avenue, when he turned left in front of the Chevrolet Equinox, around 3 p.m. on April 13, in Morrisville, the Bucks County District Attorney Matthew D.
