Haledon Detective Nabs PA Fugitive After Taxicab Stop
A taxicab passenger who was under the influence of PCP and not wearing a seatbelt turned out to be an ex-con fugitive from Pennsylvania, Haledon police said. Detective Jeffrey Welsh stopped the cab after the driver failed to signal a turn off West Broadway, Deputy Police Chief George Guzman, Jr. said.
