Student Cited For Trying To Fight Adult In Lancaster County, Police Say
A 14-year-old boy has been cited after an incident in the Warwick School District, authorities announced on Monday, Nov. 20. Officers with the Lititz Borough Police Department were called to a disturbance on school district grounds in the 300 block of West Orange Street at 2:53 p.m. on Nov. 17. The young teen "had gotten physical with an adult male and challenged the adult male to a fight," the police said. He was cited for harassment and issued a summons to appear in District Court. Additional information was not released.

A school board member in Pennsylvania has resigned following a Facebook post she made about Israel's military on Thursday, Nov. 16. The American Civil Liberties Union is suing Twin Valley School District in Berks County over an alleged violation of a student's First Amendment rights, the organization says. A school bus taking children to school was rear-ended on Wednesday morning, according to the police. The bus was stopped at a red light along its route to the West Shore School District while heading north at the intersection of Bridge and Third streets on Nov. 8 at approximately 7:30 a.m., New Cumberland police detailed in a release. Water Outage Shutters School In Central PA
A Central Pennsylvania elementary school is closed due to a water shortage. The sudden announcement of the closure came from the Lower Dauphin School District around 7 a.m. on Sept. 21 — the same day as the closure.
