A woman impersonated a Federal Bureau of Investigations agent at a Central Pennsylvania prison in an attempt to free an inmate, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Rebecca Frye, 30, of Mechanicsburg, was claimed to be taking custody of an inmate at State Correction Institution - Camp Hile as an agent of the FBI— but she has no credentials and authorities were unable to verify her identity, PA State Police Carlisle Trooper Cutaiar explained. A Berks County man was charged with vehicular homicide for a fatal high-speed crash in Caernarvon Township on Monday, Sept. 30, according to police. Matthew Slauch, 23, of Birdsboro, is accused of causing the death of Scott Wagner, 64, of Reinholds, who was killed in a crash at the intersection of Morgantown and Elverson roads that happened on Thursday, June 6, Caernarvon Township Police said. A Lyft driver has been arrested after carrying his passenger's groceries home and kissing her, according to a release by the Lower Allen Township Police on Wednesday, Oct. 2. A 64-year-old Germansville man was killed in a motorcycle crash with a deer in Lehigh County on Monday morning, Oct. 1, Pennsylvania State Police said. Frederick R. A former mayor of Wildwood admitted to his role in a healthcare fraud scheme that stole more than $600,000 in government funds, authorities said.
