Fatal Crash In Lower Paxton Township Closes Rt 22 In Both Directions: PennDOT

A fatal crash has closed Route 22 in both directions, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.

The deadly crash involved a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle on Rt 22 West around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 8, Schreffler said.

The crash prompted a closure of Rt 22 in both directions between Mountain and Blue Ribbon roads in Lower Paxton Township.

The roadway is estimated to reopen at 11:45 pm. according to PennDOT's 511PA.

Lower Paxton Township Police remained on the scene at the time of publishing.
