59-Year-Old Driver Killed In Northeast Philadelphia Crash: Officials
One man has died after crashing his car into a wall early Monday morning, June 17, according to Philadelphia police. Authorities said the 59-year-old's 2007 Chevrolet lost control on the 1100 block of Welsh Road. His car struck a wall then continued westbound on the sidewalk before coming to a rest in the roadway, police said. He was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead around 2:40 a.m. Authorities did not release his name. An investigation is ongoing, they added.

Crash Shuts Down Lincoln Highway In Chester County: Police
Authorities are responding to an accident on Route 30 in West Whiteland on Monday morning, June 17. Route 30 is shut down east of Springdale Drive and some area residents have lost power, police said around 10 a.m. The PECO outage map shows more than 100 customers in the area are affected. Service is expected to be restored by noon, PECO says.

Pedestrian Dies After Berks County Crash: Coroner
A pedestrian died from her injuries after being struck by a car in Hamburg, officials say. Alicia Barlip, 44, was hit near South Fourth Street and Pine Street on June 4, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office. She was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital-Bethlehem where she died from blunt force trauma on Thursday, June 13, officials said. Her death was ruled accidental. Hamburg Borough Police Department and the Berks County District Attorney's Office are investigating.

Exeter police responded to a crash on Route 422 on Wednesday afternoon, June 12. Authorities said it happened near Daniel Boone Road around 2:30 p.m. "Motorists should expect the road to be closed for an extended period of time," Exeter police said. A man and a woman are hospitalized after an early morning wreck on Route 322, Downingtown police say. A silver Honda Fit and a white Chevrolet Equinox collided on the 600 block just after 8 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, authorities said. Both were taken to Paoli Hospital Trauma Center while Route 322/Brandywine Avenue was shut down for more than three hours. Coroner Names Driver Killed In Williams Township Crash
A 25-year-old man died in a single-car crash on Thursday morning, June 6, authorities say. Rashon Christian-James Cooke of Philadelphia crashed at the corner of Berger and Diehl roads in Williams Township, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office. According to state police, Cooke was headed west on Diehl when his truck left the roadway, struck an embankment, and then hit a traffic sign before overturning. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His cause and manner of death are pending further investigation, the Coroner's Office added.

Officials have named the driver who died after a crash near Bernville on Thursday morning, May 30. Daniel R. Schneider, 28, was headed south on the 6400 block of Bernville Road/Route 183 in Penn Township around 4:15 a.m., according to state police and the Berks Coroner's Office.
