Poconos Driver Killed After Losing Control On Snow-Covered Route 611: Police A Pocono Summit man died in a crash involving a box truck on a snow-covered Route 611, police announced Friday, Nov. 22. Brian Rambhawan, 36, was traveling south on the slippery road when he lost control of his sedan and spun into oncoming traffic, colliding with a northbound box truck, according to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department. The crash happened at 3:54 a.m. in Coolbaugh Township. PennDOT Work To Begin In Plumstead, Police Say Crews will begin work on Old East Road in Plumstead beginning Tuesday, July 23, township police announced.  The street will be shut down from Curly Hill Road to Route 611 all day for drainage pipe replacement, authorities wrote in a release. Only emergency traffic will be allowed, police said.  Drivers are asked to plan alternate routes, including Curly Hill Road between Easton Road and Old Easton Road or Point Pleasant Pike.
