West Chester Man Caught With Loaded Gun At Philly International Airport: TSA
A West Chester man was arrested at Philadelphia International Airport after TSA officers discovered a loaded handgun in his carry-on bag on Monday, Dec. 9. The .38-caliber revolver, which was loaded with six bullets, was intercepted at a checkpoint by X-ray. An additional nine bullets were also found, bringing the total to 15, TSA officials said. Shotgun Shell Containing Meth Found On Man At Philadelphia Airport: TSA
A Pennsylvania was caught with an altered shotgun shell containing methamphetamine while moving through a security checkpoint at the Philadelphia International Airport on Monday, Sept. 30, according to the Transportation Security Administration. As the man moved through the checkpoint, a scanner alarmed in his groin area where the shotgun shell was found under his clothing, TSA said. Convicted Child Rapist Extradited To PA From England: DA
A convicted child rapist was extradited to Pennsylvania from England after fleeing the country, authorities said. Gerard Zalewski, 41, skipped bail in April 2006 before his sentencing hearing on child rape charges, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and FBI Philadelphia Special Agent In Charge Wayne A. Jacobs.
