Skeletal Remains Found In Montco Identified: Coroner
The human skull and other skeletal remains found in a Towamencin retention basin on March 18 have been identified, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. They belonged to 34-year-old Isaias Hernandez-Geronimo, said Coroner Janine Darby at a press conference on Tuesday, July 30. The remains were discovered by a surveyor in a wooded area near the retention basin on Welsh Road, officials said previously. A Lynnewood Elementary School teacher is accused of masturbating in Perkasie's Lenape Park, according to a criminal complaint filed in a Bucks County court. Matthew P. Gagat, 47, is charged with open lewdness, court records show. A 34-year-old man has been charged with murder after authorities said he strangled his roommate at Norristown State Hospital over the weekend. A motorcyclist died in a crash in Montgomery County Saturday evening, June 15, despite attempts from an on-scene nurse and EMTs to save them. The Kawasaki operator had gotten in a collision with a Hyundai Tucson around 7 p.m. on the 600 block of South Henderson Road before the motorcyclist hit a telephone pole, local police said. A two-car crash on the Montgomery-Bucks county line injured four people over the weekend, according to Hatfield police. Authorities said it happened at Bergery Road and Bethlehem Pike around 5 p.m. Saturday, June 8.
