Suspect Named In Cold-Blooded Harrisburg Street Murder (Update) Police have identified a suspect in the fatal shooting of a man found dead on Nectarine Street in Harrisburg, authorities announced Monday, Dec. 9, 2024. Santiago Gutierrez, 29, is wanted for murder after allegedly shooting Jhonny Torres, 25, dead in the middle of the street, police said. Gutierrez, who fled the scene immediately after the shooting, has been charged with murder and firearm not to be carried without a license. Officers responded to the 300 block of Nectarine Street around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, after reports of gunfire and found Torres lying in the roadway with gunshot …

Community Mourns Passing Of Police Sgt. In Upper Southampton The Upper Southampton community is mourning the passing of retired Sgt. Jeffrey Delp on Wednesday, Aug. 14. He was 68 years old. He was formerly from Langhorne. Andrew Bellavia was last since on Aug. 7. He is described as a white man who is approximately 5'5", weighing 160 lbs, with gray hair and glasses. Teen Victim Of 'Strong-Armed' Robbery Near Park In Hanover Borough: Police A 15-year-old was attacked and robbed early Tuesday morning, July 30, the Hanover Borough Police Department announced in a release.  The teen was "approached by a male subject to engage in a sales transaction" in the 100 block of Moul Avenue in Hanover Borough at 12:53 a.m., the police stated in the release.
