'Suspicious Fires' Have Carlisle Police Searching For Bicyclist A bicyclist is being sought as suspected arsonist, Carlisle Borough Police announced on Sunday, Aug. 11.  The search began after " a string of suspicious fires in the Borough," the police stated in the release.  The bicyclist pictured is "a person of interest," according to the police.  He is described as a white man between 20 and 30 years old, and he has been seen twice riding a bike with a white front.  He has been seen wearing khaki shorts and a long-sleeved dark shirt; and on a separate occasion, he was seen wearing a brown camo backpack and gray shorts, according…

Cold CASE: Troopers Find New Leads In PA Woman's 1997 Murder State police say they are making progress in their investigation of Patricia Woll's homicide.  Woll, 43, was living on River Road in Damascus Township, Wayne County when her house caught fire on Aug. 28, 1997.  She was found dead inside after firefighters beat the blaze. A "detailed investigation" led state police to declare the fire an arson and Woll's death a homicide.  "Several new investigatory leads and evidence have been uncovered and are activity being pursued by investigators," said troopers in a release on May 31.
