Tree Falls On Property Owner, Killing Him In Lancaster County Backyard: Coroner
Two men died in separate tree-cutting accidents just hours apart in Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 18, authorities said.
In Lancaster County, Samuel Lantz, 31, was killed after a tree he was cutting down fell on him at his property on the 4000 block of Strasburg Road in Salisbury Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police and the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office.
Emergency crews were called at 11:09 a.m., and coroner’s investigators later found Lantz in a wooded area of the property, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.
