PA Passenger Guilty Of Involuntary Manslaughter For I-78 Fatal Crash: DA
A passenger has been found guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter for a fatal crash on Interstate 78, the Berks County District Attorney's Office annoued on Friday, Oct. 11. Dustin Micheal Harbaugh, 37, of Lebanon, was convicted for causing the crash that killed Jason Carl Blauch, 38, of Myerstown, according to the DA and his obituary posted by Rohland Funeral Home Inc. PA Woman Kills Teen By Crashing Stolen Car Through Red Light: Affidavit
A Philadelphia woman has been charged with killing another teenager after running a red light and crashing a stolen vehicle in Montgomery County, authorities said. Asiyah Sara Mowatt-Mays, 18, was charged with homicide by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle, receiving stolen property and other charges related to the July 29 crash that killed a 15-year-old boy and injured two others, authorities said. LanCo Driver Was More Than 2X Legal Limit In Crash That Sent Passenger Into Surgery: Cops
A Lancaster County man was more than twice the legal limit in a crash that sent his passenger into emergency surgery earlier this month, police said. James Giuca, 37, of Denver, had a blood alcohol level of .184% when he lost control negotiating a curve on East Swartzville Road on May 13 around 2:25 a.m., East Cocalico Township police said. Giuca's vehicle struck a tree, requiring his passenger be extricated from the vehicle and rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Giuca was charged with aggravated assault by vehicle while DUI, DUI, and issued a summary traffic violation.
