A 7-week-old baby girl suffered multiple serious injuries in an alleged assault that landed both of her parents behind bars in Philadelphia, police announced on Monday, Aug. 10.
Secret McCleve-Sar, 21, and Tyrone Jones, 22, both of the 2500 block of North Front Street, were apprehended on Sunday, Aug. 9, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
The investigation began after an 18th District officer responded to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for a report of a prior assault involving the infant at approximately 6:34 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 8, police said.
