The incident occurred in Philadelphia near Exit 26: Aramingo/Betsy Ross around 8:16 a.m. when a 43-year-old man from Folcroft was traveling in the left lane. A silver Dodge sedan with tinted windows and a damaged rear bumper pulled alongside him, and an occupant fired a shot through his passenger-side window. Fatal Overdose Lands PA State Prison Drug Dealer More Jail Time: DA An already incarcerated 31-year-old man was sentenced to more prison time after pleading guilty to the overdose-related death of another inmate, the Buck County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Allen Rhoades, 31, of Doylestown, was sentenced to seven to 20 years in prison for providing the drugs that led to the death of Joshua Patterson, 22, of Philadelphia, while both men were serving time on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, the DA's Office detailed in a release. Jackknifed Trailer Closed I-95 For Several Hours In Philadelphia Interstate 95 has reopened in Philadelphia following a tractor trailer crash early Thursday, Aug. 8. The trailer jackknifed in the 6:30 a.m. crash in between exits for Vine Street Expressway and Columbus Boulevard. 6abc says HazMat teams were called to the scene for a fuel spill. As of 10 a.m., the highway had reopened but residual delays were expected. I-95 SB is now open. Traffic has begun moving but expect residual delays. Flaming Jackknife Tractor-Trailer On I-95 Near Betsy Ross Bridge (Video) A tractor-trailer fire shuttered part of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for hours, Pennsylvania State Police explained on Friday morning.  The tractor-trailer was already ablaze when it jackknifed on I-95 South at mile marker 25.6 in Philadelphia County near the Betsy Ross Bridge into New Jersey around 7:30 a.m. on June 28, state police detailed in the release.  The fire has been extinguished and Troop K Philadelphia Station was on the scene as of 9 a.m. The driver was able to escape.  Click the player below to see a Citizen video of the firefighters on the scene. I-95 Crash Leads To Lane Restriction In Bucks County Authorities are responding to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95.  It happened around 11 a.m. in the northbound lanes about 1.5 miles north of Exit 32 (Academy Road/Linden Avenue), according to PennDOT.  A lane restriction is in effect, officials said.

Box Truck Overturns On I-95 In Philadelphia Pennsylvania State Police are responding to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia.  A box truck overturned in the southbound lanes near the Academy Road exit, troopers said around 9 a.m., May 29. The truck blocked the right and center lanes, police said.  A school bus without any students onboard was also involved.  Firefighters and EMS were dispatched to the scene, troopers added.
