Hanover Man Shot In Chest During Altercation With Neighbor: Police A Hanover man was shot in the chest during an argument with his neighbor at an apartment on Broadway, sparking a manhunt for the suspect, police announced on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024. Officers responded to the 100 block of Broadway in Hanover at 9:40 a.m. and found a 34-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper chest, according to the Hanover Borough Police Department. Sprint Car Racer Killed In Motorcycle Crash: York Coroner A 19-year-old sprint car racer has died in a crash — off of the speedway, officials announced on Monday, July 15.  Riley Emig of the 300 block of Protectory Road, Abbottstown, has died following a motorcycle crash into a pick-up truck towing a trailer, according to a release by the York County Coroner's Office. Riley was "traveling at a high rate of speed when he struck an F150 pick-up truck that had been pulling a trailer," as stated in the coroner's release.
