Dad Of 5 Shot By Police In PA ID By Coroner
The identity of a 55-year-old father of five shot by police in East Greenville has been released by the Montgomery County coroner. Gabriel Diaz died of multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and shoulder in the shooting on Saturday night, Sept, 14, Coroner Dr. Janine Darby told Daily Voice on Tuesday, Sept. 17. A police officer fatally shot a pit bull in West Philadelphia this week, authorities said. It's at least the fifth PPD shooting of an aggressive dog since April. Authorities said two police officers were called to the 6100 block of West Colombia Avenue on Monday afternoon, June 24 for a report of a "vicious dog."
