Bodycam Footage Released After Elizabethtown Officer-Involved Shooting Ruled Justified: DA The fatal officer-involved shooting of 39-year-old Andrew Ward outside the Northwest Regional Police Station in Elizabethtown earlier this month has been deemed justified, the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday, Nov. 19. Ward, who was armed with a loaded handgun, was shot by an officer after he pointed the weapon at law enforcement during a confrontation on Sunday, Nov. 3, according to the DA’s findings.
