Fatal Crash Closes Rt 22 In Susquehanna Township (Developing) A fatal crash closed Route 22 West in Susquehanna Township late Sunday night, Sept. 15, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  The crash was first reported on Rt 22 West at Exit: PA 39 - Linglestown/Rockville at 11:38 p.m., according to Schreffler and 511PA.  It is a single vehicle crash with one fatality confirmed just after midnight on Monday, Sept. 16, Schreffler told us.  The road was closed between Exit 39 and Exit: PA 443 - Fishing Creek but it reopened around 4:11 a.m., according to Schreffler. Central Penn Baseball Star Struck Dead By Tractor-Trailer On I-81: Coroner A former college baseball player was struck dead on Interstate 81 on Sunday, Aug. 25, the Cumberland County Coroner Charley Hall told Daily Voice.  Quinton J. Heckard, 26, of Hummelstown, was hit by a tractor-trailer on I-81 South at mile marker 61.7 at 8:13 a.m., according to Hall.  The fatal pedestrian strike happened when "Heckard stepped in front of the truck from the shoulder of the road," Hall said. Rt 11 Reopens After Fatal Tanker Truck Crash: PennDOT A coroner was called to the scene of a crash on Route 11 on Wednesday morning, according to Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler.  The crash is believed to have been between a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle, Schreffler explained. It happened between Schoolhouse and Cove roads at around 11:30 a.m. on July 10. It is unclear "which vehicle had the fatality," Schreffler said.  The area affected by the closure was between Maryville and Duncannon. The roadway reopened around 2:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA and Schreffler.…
