PA Man Shot Dead By Police During Domestic Incident: DA
A man was shot and killed by Abington Township police officers during a domestic disturbance call, Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele announced on Thursday, March 6. Officers responded to a 911 call for a domestic dispute in the 2300 block of Rosemore Avenue in the Glenside section of Abington Township at approximately 11:15 a.m., Steele said. Upon entering an apartment, officers discharged their firearms, striking an adult male, according to the DA. A Brookhaven man is accused of committing a string of burglaries in West Chester, including stealing a police officer’s body armor vest and badge from a patrol car, the Chester County District Attorney's Office announced Friday, Jan. 17. Lawrence Dass, 27, was charged with five counts of burglary and related offenses following his Jan. 14 arrest by the West Chester Borough Police Department. 37-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In Norristown: DA
A homicide investigation has been launched after a 37-year-old man was shot dead in Norristown, authorities announced Sunday, Jan. 12. The fatal shooting occurred at approximately 7:34 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2025, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele and Norristown Acting Police Chief James Angelucci. A 26-year-old man who had been wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run crash in Norristown is in custody, authorities said. An arrest warrant has been issued after a 57-year-old pedestrian was hit and killed on a Norristown street, prosecutors say. A sheet had been placed over Cruz's windshield following the crash to hide the damage, officials say.
