Lunch Lady Killed In Allentown Murder-Suicide, Daughter Says A 44-year-old Allentown mom "didn’t deserve to die the way she did," her daughter wrote in a GoFundMe on Friday, Sept. 6 following a murder-suicide. Livi E. Beltran Fernandez was found shot dead in a home in the 2000 block of East Cedar Street around 1:10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 5, as explained by the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio and previously reported by Daily Voice. Her cause of death was ruled a homicide. Jesus J. Cruz Ortiz, 53, of Easton, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot at the same address, Buglio said. His cause of death was ruled a suicide. Coroner Seeks Next-Of-Kin For Northampton County Man The Lehigh County Coroner is seeking next-of-kin for a Northampton County man who died last month, authorities said on Tuesday, Aug. 20. Joseph M. Moosh, 66, of Bath, was pronounced dead on Thursday, July 11 at about noon at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Muhlenberg. He died of natural causes. Kutztown Woman Dies Weeks After Crashing Into Tree: Lehigh County Coroner An 80-year-old woman has just over two weeks after a car crash into a tree, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced on Tuesday, July 30.  Marilyn A. Barlip, Greenwich Township, was pronounced dead at Lehigh Valley Hospital at 11:15 a.m. on Monday, July 29, as detailed in the release.  Her official cause of death is "Complications of Multiple Blunt Force Injuries due to Motor Vehicle Collision" and the manner is an accident, Buglio said.
