Police Car 'Intentionally Struck' In Northeast Philadelphia: Authorities One officer was taken to the hospital after a driver "intentionally struck" a Philadelphia police car early Monday morning, June 10, officials say.  A Chevrolet Camaro hit the marked police car on the 3200 block of Friendship Street in Mayfair around 3:30 a.m., authorities said.  The police car sustained front-end damage and a broken front axle and had to be towed from the scene along with the Camaro, according to PPD. Teen Blocked Police Vehicle At Northeast Philly Car Meet: Authorities Three people were arrested when police broke up a car meet in Northeast Philadelphia on Sunday night.  Authorities said they arrived at the 500 block of Adams Avenue to find some 200 people and around 100 vehicles.  An officer activated his lights and sirens after bystanders "encircled" his car, PPD said. Thief Steals Minivan With 11-Year-Old Girl Inside In Philadelphia, Police Say An 11-year-old girl was inside of her family minivan when a car thief stole it in Philadelphia, police said. A 24-year-old man took the blue Honda Odyssey with the girl inside at 2600 N 16th St., around 1:35 p.m. Saturday, June 1, police said. The girl and the vehicle were safely recovered at 3200 Randolph Street. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. There were no injuries to the girl. Police said further details were expected to be released.
