A branch of a tree that had fallen on tracks broke through a New Jersey Transit train's windshield, killing the operator in Burlington County, officials said. The National Transportation Safety Board released its preliminary investigation into the Thursday, Oct. 15 crash. The suspect wanted for a triple shooting on a SEPTA bus earlier this month has been arrested by US Marshals on Wednesday, Oct. 23. Raphael Ezeamaka, 18, of Darby, was wanted for a triple shooting that happened on a SEPTA Route G bus at 700 South 57th Street on Tuesday, Oct. 8, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. Bus Hits Pedestrian In North Philadelphia: SEPTA
One person was hospitalized after being struck by a bus in Philadelphia's Hunting Park on Monday night, May 27. SEPTA said it happened near the corner of 13th Street and Erie Avenue around 9 p.m. The pedestrian was hit by the left side mirror of a Route 56 bus, according to transit officials. A verbal argument on a SEPTA bus on Thursday night, May 23 led to four people being cut with a knife, Upper Merion police said in a release. It happened on a Route 99 bus near the Macy's at King of Prussia mall, according to investigators. Authorities said three teen girls and an adult woman began arguing when one of them threw a drink at another.
