Cpl. Monteé Atkins, 28, Marine Corps Veteran Dies Suddenly Monteé Curtis Atkins, a native of Norristown, died suddenly on Thursday, Aug. 8, according to an obituary published by Volpe Funeral Home. He was 28 years old.   Monteé was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and honorably discharged as Corporal Atkins. He enjoyed hanging with his friends; spending quality time eating, laughing and joking with his family, his obituary said.
