A high-speed chase through Carbon County ended with the arrest of a New York man, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Christopher Diaz, 35, was charged with Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance, and multiple vehicle code violations after two separate pursuits, according to state police.

A Pennsylvania woman struck three Palm Beach County motorcycle deputies on Thursday, Nov. 21, killing two on the scene and a third who died days later, Florida authorities said.
The deputies—identified as Corporal Luis Paez, 58, Deputy Ralph “Butch” Waller, 54, and Deputy Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, 51—were conducting traffic enforcement on the right shoulder of Southern Boulevard near Loxahatchee when the crash occurred, Florida Highway Patrol said in a release.

A Levittown man was charged with vehicular homicide for causing a fatal Bucks County crash on Tuesday, Nov. 12, the affidavit against him states.
Thomas W. Kite, 39, was drunk on alcohol and high on marijuana when he crashed into a vehicle driven by Joseph Kovacs, 52, of Trenton, New Jersey, who later died from injuries sustained in the crash, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

Officials have released the 19-year-old man killed in a pursuit that ended in a crash with Pennsylvania State Troopers Thursday, June 6.
Troopers were attempting to stop Matthew Stepp, of Lehighton, in a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 for code violations around 6:24 p.m. Thursday, Trooper Anthony Petroski III said.
