Police Seek Missing 72-Year-Old In Bucks County
A 72-year-old Fairless Hills man has been missing since Monday, July 29, according to Falls Township police. Joseph Verni was last seen around 8 a.m. that day, authorities said. He was wearing a burnt orange T-shirt and shorts and drives a white Honda Fit with Pennsylvania tag number MLG5191. Verni is 5-foot-9 with a thin build, they added. Man Admits Pointing Replica Handgun At Officers In Bucks County, DA Says
A Levittown man could spend nearly two years in prison for pointing a fake gun at police officers last year, prosecutors say. Benjamin Fell, 21, was shot by Falls Township police last March 28 during what began as a routine traffic stop on Lincoln Highway, the DA's Office said. Fell fled police in his 2007 silver Ford Focus, driving 75 mph in a 40 mph zone before the chase ended near Oak Lane, authorities said.
