The crash occurred around 12:53 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26, as both vehicles were traveling southbound, according to the Lititz Borough Police Department. Car Carrier Catches Fire On Rt 283 In Central PA (Photo) A car carrier caught fire on Route 283 on Monday morning, Sept. 30, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The call to fire came into the Dauphin County Department of Public Safety at 8:03 a.m. Fire crews responded to a tractor fire on Route 283 East at the Middletown Road Exit in Dauphin County Monday morning. There was a lane restriction in the area. The tractor of the car carry was hollowed out by the fire, as seen in PennDOT's 511PA traffic cameras.  No injuries have been reported at the time of publishing.

Tractor-Trailer Rollover Blocks Ramp On Rt 22: PennDOT A tractor-trailer rolled onto its side is blocking the on-ramp to Route 22 on Monday morning, Aug. 5., according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.  The tractor-trailer appears to have flipped exactly in front of the on-ramp from Elmerton Avenue to North Cameron Street/Route 22 Northbound near Wildwood Drive around 6:40 a.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA traffic cameras.  A crane came to the area and stood the vehicle upright around 9:40 a.m., but the area was still closed.  No injuries were reported.  Check back here for updates.

Texas Longhorn Bull Loose On I-83: PennDOT A bull was "running amok" on Interstate 83, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler announced on Wednesday afternoon.  The Texas Longhorn bull got loose near Exit 36 to Fishing Creek, according to Schreffler.  The bull was "quick and [had] been evading capture on the ramps, in the gore area, and on the other side by the car wash," Schreffler explained.  There was traffic disruption, not a closure as of 3:20 p.m. on July 10.  There was no word on how long it would take to wrangle the bull, but around 4:15 p.m. some men with lassos caught…
