PA Son Kills 92-Year-Old Dad In Murder-Suicide: Coroner A 92-year-old dad was killed by his son and namesake in what officials are calling murder-suicide, the Mercer County Coroner’s office told Daily Voice on Monday, Oct. 7. David E. Frew, 92, of West Salem Township, was shot in the head by his son, David C. Frew, 51, of Sharpsville on Sunday, Oct. 6.  First responders were called to the scene in Mercer County around 5:30 p.m. that night.  The elder David Frew was pronounced dead at the scene by Chief Deputy Coroner Robert L.
