Hundreds Of Forged Voter Registration Found In 2.5K Questionable Applications: Lancaster DA
The Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office has found hundreds of fraudulent voter registration applications while continuing to investigate the 2,500 applications dropped off at the county Board of Elections. Election workers initially noticed the irregularities before the applications had been processed and notified the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office, as Daily Voice previously reported. Police Seek Missing 72-Year-Old In Bucks County
A 72-year-old Fairless Hills man has been missing since Monday, July 29, according to Falls Township police. Joseph Verni was last seen around 8 a.m. that day, authorities said. He was wearing a burnt orange T-shirt and shorts and drives a white Honda Fit with Pennsylvania tag number MLG5191. Verni is 5-foot-9 with a thin build, they added. Chester High School Football Player Killed In Shooting: Police
A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed on a street in Chester on Sunday evening, authorities announced on Tuesday, July 2. Zaheem Sabree was found with a gunshot wound to the head on East 24th Street near Crosby Street around 6:40 p.m., on June 30, city police detailed in the release. He was taken to an area hospital where he died from his wounds. Sabree played football at Chester High School, according to his account on Hudl.com. Police are asking anyone with information on the shooting to call Detective Michael Maher at 610-447-8428.
