PA Rt 611 Reopens After Vehicle Fire: Police (

A vehicle fire closed part of PA Route 611, Doylestown police announced on Monday evening, Oct. 7. The fire was reported on North Route 611 at 4:55 p.m., according to the police. The closure was at State Street. Drivers were asked to "find alternate route," the police said. The roadway reopened at 5:28 p.m. according to the police.

A police officer and two civilians were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The crash, which involved a police vehicle, happened in the 500 block of West Callowhill Street at 12:29 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, police said. Tractor-Trailer Fire On PA Rt 283 Causes Delays: PennDOT
A tractor-trailer fire has caused delays on Route 283 on Thursday morning, Oct. 3, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The fire happened in the westbound lanes of PA Rt 283 between Exit: Pa. 772 – Mount Joy/Manheim And Exit: Rheems/Elizabethtown, according toe PennDOT's 511PA. Emergency crews were called to the fire around 8:45 a.m., 511PA shows. Lane restriction was put in place as crews remained on the scene. Delays continued in the area as of 10:40 a.m. The cause of the fire was not shared and no injuries were reported. Check back here for possible updates.

A 3-year-old boy from Chesterbrook died after he was pulled from a pond in Chester County on Labor Day, authorities said. Several people suffered injuries in a six-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer on Route 30 in Lancaster Count on Monday night, August 12, authorities announced the following morning. A vehicle crash into a fence at a Route 30 ramp is causing some delays on Monday, Aug. 5, according to PennDOT's 511PA. The crash happened at the Route 30 Westbound on-ramp at Kreutz Creek Road in Hellam Township around 11:15 a.m., according to the York County Department of Emergency Services dispatch log.
