Nicholas Wolhafe, 23, of West Chester, was among the large crowd gathered at North High and East Market streets on Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11 p.m. when police attempted to arrest another individual, the West Chester Borough Police Department said in a release.
As officers were taking the other person into custody, Wolhafe allegedly pushed an officer from behind, sparking a physical altercation. He was arrested and charged with misdemeanor Obstructing Administration of Law, as well as Summary Public Drunkenness, Disorderly Conduct, and Harassment, according to police.
Wolhafe was released on a summons and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled.
