7-Eleven To Close Hundreds Of Stores Convenience store chain 7-Eleven is closing hundreds of stores in North America. Parent company Seven & I Holdings said that the 444 locations were “underperforming.” They make up about 3 percent of 7-Eleven's total of around 13,000 outlets in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Specific sites of the stores have not yet been released. SUV Slams Into 7-Eleven In Northeast Philadelphia: Police A driver suffered a medical emergency before striking a pedestrian and crashing into a convenience store Thursday morning, Aug. 1, according to Philadelphia police.  The driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee lost consciousness while headed west on Harbison Avenue around 12:45 a.m., authorities said. Officers responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a stolen vehicle from the convenience store at 45 W. Main St. in Denville, Denville police said. The stolen vehicle was involved in a pursuit with New Jersey State Police but the suspects were not apprehended, police said. 7-Eleven Armed Robbery Caught On Video In Bucks County Warminster police are looking for two suspects in an armed robbery. The pictured men walked into the 1483 W Street Road 7-Eleven just after midnight on Saturday, June 8, authorities said.  They robbed the clerk at knifepoint and made off with "various items," police said.  Authorities have released stills from the store's video surveillance system showing both suspects. Anyone who can identify them is asked to call Warminster police at 215-672-1000 or submit a tip through Crimewatch.
