A police impersonator swiped a set of car keys from an automotive dealer then returned later to steal the vehicle, according to authorities. Scranton police said Ernest J. Morris is charged with theft and receiving stolen property. Morris, 47, walked into the dealership wearing "law enforcement attire" on June 18, investigators said. He displayed a badge and a "full police equipment belt" while speaking with employees, and made off with the keys to a 2021 Honda Civic, according to authorities. The mugshot of a 34-year-old murder suspect arrested in a New Jersey shooting that rattled a small town has been released. Anthony Garvin, of Netcong, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm and lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, PA, a spokesperson for the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said following the Thursday, June 28 incident. A Nesquehoning man was arrested after allegedly threatening to bring a gun to the borough offices on Wednesday, June 26, authorities say. Steven Figueroa, 29, is charged with terroristic threats, according to Nesquehoning police. A juvenile who led police on a chase in a stolen car has been charged, Reading Police announced on Monday, June 24. Officers spotted the vehicle near North 3rd and Washington streets around 1:30 a.m. When they tried to pull it over, the 15-year-old driver fled into Muhlenberg Township where he lost control and crashed, according to officials. Bethlehem Shooting Sends Victim To Hospital In Critical Condition: Police
City police are investigating a shooting in Bethlehem early Sunday morning, June 23. Authorities said they were called to the 1300 block of Fritz Drive just after 4 a.m. Officers arrived to find an adult man with a gunshot wound to the body and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, BPD said. Ramon Rodriguez Vazquez has been charged with attempted murder, attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault, and more. Two Teens Caught In Stolen Car, Allentown Police Say
Two juvenile suspects were arrested after police said they were found in a stolen vehicle early Monday, June 17. Authorities said they were called about a stolen car on the 600 block of Chew Street around 1:40 a.m. While officers were taking the report, the car was spotted near North 7th Street entering the city. The vehicle was pulled over and both juveniles were taken into custody, APD said. They are charged with fleeing and eluding, theft, receiving stolen property, evading arrest on foot, and traffic offenses, authorities said.

Two men stole jewelry from a South Philadelphia home last week after one of them claimed he needed to inspect the back deck, city police said.
