Fugitive PA Teen Captured By US Marshals After Park Double Shooting (Update)

Fugitive Raheem Hylton was apprehended hours after a double shooting at Dilworth Park left two juveniles hospitalized, US Marshals announced on Thursday, Dec. 19.

The shooting occurred near 15th Street and Market Street at approximately 4:33 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 13, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.

A 14-year-old boy was rushed to Jefferson Hospital in extremely critical condition after sustaining injuries during the shooting, police said. The second victim, whose age, gender, and race are currently unknown, was treated for a gunshot wound to the left thigh and is in stable condition, authorities added.

At 8 p.m., Raheem Hylton was apprehended on the 1200 block of Foulkrod Street by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force. Hylton was located at a known associate's residence after investigators received an anonymous tip, officials said.
