Twin brothers caught stealing beer assaulted an officer in the Poconos, police announced on Friday, Sept. 13. Xaziver and Gabriel Valle, both 19-year-old Tobyhanna residents were arrested on Thursday, Sept. 12, Mountain Regional Police detailed in the release. A 22-year-old man from West Chester was arrested after striking an officer twice, authorities said. On Aug. 25, 2024, at about 2 a.m., West Chester Borough Police responded to the 100 block of West Gay Street, West Chester Borough, for a disturbance. Two Cumberland County men were convicted of sexually assaulting a woman after a night of drinking, authorities said. Chase Toombs and Taj Tucker blamed their behavior on Hennessy beer, according to the Cumberland County District Attorney's Office.
