Career Criminal Trafficking Fentanyl From Harrisburg To Maryland Learns His Fate
A Pennsylvania man brought fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine into Maryland. Now he’s going away for decades.
Jerome Mario Britton, 46, of Pennsylvania, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for drug distribution in Frederick County, prosecutors announced.
A jury convicted Britton in March following a narcotics investigation and traffic stop in Frederick last fall.
According to the Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office, on Sept. 4, 2024, at approximately 10:30 a.m., police received a tip from Carroll Township in Pennsylvania.

Two parents in Stroud Township are accused of selling heroin and fentanyl from their home while their young children lived in dangerous, squalid conditions, authorities announced on Friday, Feb. 7.
Jessica Walters, 35, and Robert Nochella, 35, were arrested after Monroe County detectives and Children and Youth Services discovered drug paraphernalia, scales, and packaging materials scattered throughout their home on Thursday, Feb. 6, officials said. An already incarcerated 31-year-old man was sentenced to more prison time after pleading guilty to the overdose-related death of another inmate, the Buck County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Allen Rhoades, 31, of Doylestown, was sentenced to seven to 20 years in prison for providing the drugs that led to the death of Joshua Patterson, 22, of Philadelphia, while both men were serving time on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, the DA's Office detailed in a release.
