A Pennsylvania State Police Corporal was shot while conducting a warranted in Lancaster on Wednesday, July 24, PSP Troop J PIO James Grothey announced. The accused gunman in a fatal Philadelphia shooting is "armed and dangerous," city police warned in a release on Thursday, July 18. Leiber Manrique, 53, is wanted for the July 15 killing of Omar Gaitan of the 700 block of Knorr Street, authorities said in a release. Gaitan was sitting in his Honda CRV when he was shot in the face on the 500 block of West Ruscomb Street, according to investigators. The mugshot of a 34-year-old murder suspect arrested in a New Jersey shooting that rattled a small town has been released. Anthony Garvin, of Netcong, was charged with murder and possession of a firearm and lodged in the Berks County Jail in Leesport, PA, a spokesperson for the Warren County Prosecutor's Office said following the Thursday, June 28 incident. The results of the autopsy for a high school senior, who was shot dead by a 13-year-old boy, were released by the Dauphin County Coroner on Friday, June 7.
