Dogs Left In Car On 97-Degree Day Leads To Animal Neglect Citation In Pennsylvania
Three dogs were allegedly left inside a vehicle on a 97-degree day without water or relief from the heat in Lancaster County, police announced on Sunday, June 15.
Michelle L. Campbell, 53, of Bonifay, Florida, was cited for summary neglect of an animal following an incident in East Earl Township, according to East Earl Township Police.
Campbell allegedly left the three dogs inside her vehicle at 129 Toddy Drive around 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, police said.
The dogs were left without water or protection from the extreme heat, according to the citation.

A woman killed herself after fatally shooting a man and setting multiple fires inside their Pennsylvania home, authorities said.
Police and firefighters were called to 6524 Fairfax Drive in Lower Paxton around 10:20 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, for a residential fire with possible entrapment, according to the Lower Paxton Township Bureau of Police.

An Adams County couple is facing child endangerment and animal cruelty charges after authorities found their home covered in feces and urine with 63 Chihuahuas inside, Pennsylvania State Police announced.

36 Animals Including Bull, Chickens Rescued From School Bus Trailer In PA, SPCA Says
Thirty birds, four dogs, one bull, and one pony were removed from a school bus and trailer in Adams County over the weekend, according to the SPCA.
Eastern Adams Regional police called SPCA members to Hanover Street and Red Hill Road on Saturday night, the organization said in a release.
Police had discovered the animals in the bus and accompanying trailer after arresting the driver on out-of-state warrants, officials said. The animals were given water and kept secure until Sunday when they could be removed.
